Blog/Recipes/My favorite cereal breakfast

We tend to overcomplicate things when it comes to food. But if I want to stick with my goals, I know I need to keep my recipes as SIMPLE as possible.

One day, I heard someone say: “We don’t need to create Michelin-star-worthy dishes for every meal.” And that stuck with me.

For me, overcomplication is what pulls me back into old habits. On the flip side, simplification is the secret to consistency. This breakfast takes less than 2 minutes to put together, and it’s absolutely delicious.

I hope you love it as much as I do!

Ingredients

I eyeball the quantities, but here’s the guide:

  • 1 cup oats (sometimes I do ½ cup)
  • ½ cup Ezekiel cereal (for extra crunch!)
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 banana

Instructions

  • Add the oats, cereal, and oat milk to a bowl.
  • Toss in a whole banana. (I don't even slice it beforehand—I just cut it with my spoon as I mix everything together.)

That's it! It’s simple, fast, and seriously delicious.

Visual Process

This is what the 2-step process looks like:
