A few weeks ago, I was speaking with a friend who said, “I have high cholesterol, but dietary cholesterol doesn’t affect me.” He then mentioned that he assumed only a small percentage of people are affected by dietary cholesterol, while the majority are not.
So, the question becomes... what's causing the rest of the population to have high cholesterol?
Dietary cholesterol is found in food that contains cholesterol. If you go online, you’ll find articles from medical institutes discussing how medical conditions like chronic kidney disease, diabetes, HIV, hypothyroidism, and lupus can be causes of high cholesterol.
They also say that it can be worsened by medications for acne, cancer, high blood pressure, and HIV.
Want to know the truth? The only way to increase cholesterol is through food. Literally, food is the ONLY source of cholesterol—there are no other ways to increase our levels.
Many people think it's due to a lack of exercise or stress. This is absolutely WRONG. While a lack of exercise and stress make it harder to be healthy, they are not the cause of high cholesterol. The cause of high cholesterol is food, and food alone.
Most people don't know this, but the only reason cholesterol goes up is due to dietary cholesterol. If the one and only source of cholesterol is food, then everyone will have high cholesterol if they eat it and low cholesterol if they don’t. It’s that simple.
I struggle with the fact that medical institutions do not clearly communicate this, preventing true empowerment. This is why figuring this out became my mission.
Even though we are pharma skeptics, it is really hard to figure out what we need to do to finally achieve the results we need for optimal health. The good news is that the main issue that keeps us from succeeding is confusion. Here are five facts to give you clarity and a new perspective on cholesterol:
BONUS FACT: Exercise does NOT lower cholesterol... only food can.
I hope knowing it’s this SIMPLE gives you peace of mind and empowers you. The industries that are making billions by keeping us sick are the ones complicating it for their benefit. But now you know... the only way to fix this is to eat your cholesterol away.
